Its just funny, there's this whole attitude that Texans have about independance and boom I find a manifestation of it in a power grid?

Nuts I say!


But on the other end I do like the idea of finding a way to tell the Fed Gov't "Sorry we're not interstate so shove your federal rules up your ass."

Growing up in texas, I remember reading some random articles in social studies about Texas and it's effectiveness as an independent power. I don't remember any of it, because I was like, fucking seven years old, but that's besides the point.

randomass factoid: Texas is the only state in the union permitted to fly the state flag at the same level as the stars and stripes. There is a lot of pride in that state....for good or bad.
