Final Fantasy X2
Anyone know much about this game?
I think it's due out in November, supossedly just like a stand alone expansion to Final Fantasy X. Same characters, picks up where the last story left off.
But the main character is back...I thought he was just a dream and at the end he like died kinda.

I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

I'm getting it..
I'm getting it...I've got it reserved...
From what I hear the cool things about it are:
There are 3 main Characters,
Yuna, Paen (a new one), and Rikku. They can change classes though by getting 'Dress Spheres' (the cool part..)
There are many different endings depending on what quests you go on.
Hmm...That's it but I'm getting it because I have to admit it, I'm mostly a Square fanboy heh...Or Squeeenix as it's being called now.

I really enjoyed FFX, start to finish. I was pleased at the end when Tidus "died." I thought it brought out an expected, but genuinely satisfying ending to the story. From what I've read of X2, Tidus may not have been "fully dead" and Yuna is on a mission to get him back.
While I am definately interested, and will probably buy this game on release day, I'm hesitant to put too much in terms of expectations forth for it.

Although Dress spheres sounds corny...I guess it makes sense. I mean they can limit it to 3 characters, you don't have to worry about leveling different characters beyond your party (or do the classes level different?).
I have Endless Saga, it's by Square Enix and it had a preview movie that lasted like 10 minutes or so, it was Yuna in some skimpy outfit on a stage singing in Japanese...I really didn't gleam too much info from it aside from the fact Yuna likes to sing.

I was a HUGE FFX fan, went all out. And come to think of it, it isn't my game, it's my ex's but i stole it. I gotta say i can't wait for the sequel, I've heard that Yuna is like a singer now, and they have to travel picking up these spheres again, to try and find Tidus.
I REALLY wish that they would let you use you're characters from the first one, but i doubt it.

Don't forget that Yuna "singing" abiltiy banished the souls of the deceased to the heaven-type realm (Kinda looked to me like a mystical continament unit, but hey!) so there may be more to it than that.. or the game Really progressed durring the time since we left.

I went through a phase where I really liked Tactics, but it only lasted a week and then a month or so later I gave away my old playstation and the tactics CD to my little brothers....
After I quit EQ I asked to borrow the CD and one of thier friends borrowed it and "lost" it.
Damn it.
I've played all the Final Fantasy games (released in the USA) except the game boy ones. Starting with the first title for regular nintendo...I got that the week it came out and it was the first RPG I really got in to.
Since then even the Final Fantasy games I didn't like, were still better then the majority of games out there.
That's why Endless Saga tricked me, I figured Square/Enix was incapable of putting out total crap....so even though the guy at the counter made statements like "everyone who works here that played it hated it" "it's gotten bad reviews" "we've had some returns" "I'm really not sure you should buy it" "well keep in mind we take returns back with in 10 days"...I still bought it. From now on....I listen to that dude...he kicks ass. Very rarely do you find someone that honest, because employeers usually fire them. But you know what? That dude will likely sell me twice as much shit now, just because he has my respect.
