BARDSTOWN, Kentucky (AP) -- A fire that destroyed a whiskey warehouse -- leaving behind only smoldering oak barrels that had held 800,000 gallons of Jim Beam bourbon -- continued to burn but was contained Tuesday.

I'm not a whiskey fan but I am a bartender. Kentucky whiskey is actually world renown. Jack Daniels is our second best seller, next to OMFG canadian whiskey? Yep. Crown Royal. We also sell a lot more of Bushmills, Wild Turkey, and Makers Mark than we do Jim Bean.

Personally for me Crown is the only bourbon i can tolerate. I don't drink very often at all, and when I do, I drink vodka.

Crown Royal isn't bourbon, its blended (probably ryes although the site doesn't say). We don't use corn for our whiskey up here .

I to bartended for 15 yrs and Bourbon was a huge seller but nothing out sold Vodka.

And I would like to salute or fine Canadian friends for a fime product like Crown.

The #1 drink preffered by homeless alcoholics is bourbon. However, they usually cannot afford it, so they have to settle for Thunderbird.

Scottish and Irish whiskeys are very good.

I love a crown and coke with a cigar though as well.

Jim Beam and Jack Daniels can go to hell that shit sucks once you have had a decent whiskey like Jameson.
