The unfortunate thing is that it is a major spin off of Dan Brown's best seller and first of the Robert Langdon books, Angels and Demons...the story resembles it in many ways, but some fundamental things are different

However The Order cannot possibly be based on Dan Brown's work because all of Dan Brown's work was bought by Columbia Pictures, not Fox
