And yeah, Detroit got CuJo ... I'm happy, I guess. I know he's a good goalie. I would have rather seen Legace get a shot, though. I'm just glad Detroit didn't pick up Belfour... poor Toronto.

They don't know what they've gotten themselves into!

Manny Legace? He was the fucking man when he played for the San Diego Gulls waaay back when. He stepped up in L.A. when Hrudy was on the downslide. Did pretty well, but they never really gave him a chance ..same as what is happening to him in Detroit. He has to be like 37 now tho.. time slipping away from him

Hopefully he'll get his shot after CuJo leaves. (I give him two seasons tops before he retires.. maybe one if Detroit wins the Cup again next year.)

I was born on the east coast...skated on frozen ponds with magazines strapped to my fucking shins instead of leg guards so i could play hockey. Later on I move to California, and the most demoralizing part of this thread, is the realization that my home team now, is the fucking Disneyland Ducks.

...just like the Leafs stole him from Edmonton, and like the Leafs now have stolen Belfour... except NOW Cujo has a real chance at a Stanley Cup. Belfour ain't gonna see (another) one in TO unless they sign a few others to shore up his defense (which isn't looking promising with the UFA's left) and get some more scoring punch (Amonte is still out there...although I'm hoping he'll be wearing Blue and Orange, not blue and white) .
