Question about an old NES game
I was playing a few old ROMs earlier and I remembered a game I used to play with my cousins when I was little. I don't know the name of it, but I hope you can help me out.
It was a co-op army game for NES. There was a blue guy and a red guy (I think, could be that other game where you put together a super gun), you could shoot and throw bombs. You could also ride in a tank if you took it over. Also, if you died you ran out of lives you could come back to life with a code like "a,b,a,b".
Maybe some of you remember it? Any guesses would be great. Thanks

I think you may mean the original Contra.

I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

Wrong code..it's up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, start.Morgrym wrote:Not to sure but if it had the up, down, up, down, b, a, b, a, start code then it was made by Konami. You may want to check their old data base.
And yes, I used to have Ikari warriors haha. It wasn't by konami so the code doesnt work...the code the original poster listed actually sounds familiar to Ikari warriors but it's been so long I can't remember that one.

"Ikari Warriors was manufactured by Tradewest which licensed the game from SNK."
Btw, it's emulated by MAME so get the real version rather than the Nintendo conversion.

A good resource is Killer List of Video Games
BTW, the one with the 'Super Gun' is Heavy Barrel.
