EQ Reinstillation help

Hey all, I seem to have lost some of my EQ disks, I need to get my hands on SoL and PoP or a full downloadable version of EQ..... any help would be appreciated

Generally if you just bet the patch file executables you will be fine.

I think they are like Vpatch.exe, Kpatch.exe etc...not sure what the LoY and PoP patch files are but probably*patch.exe...get those from a friend and then re-patch.

you can no longer use that method to patch an entire expansion.. you will get the dreaded download size exceeds limit message when you try to patch.

I lost my kunark CD. I can visit the expansion just fine, cept everything minus some skeles and frogs, look like giant naked "default" humans.

Nilaman, do what I suggested and get kpatch.exe from someone and then in your patcher options tell it to patch kunark.

It should work since your zones are already downloaded etc...

Luclin had the "majority" of all the expansions data on it's CDs for the install...but I don't think they patched the previous expansions so some of the models are incorrect.....

I had the exact same problem a while back as did several friends, I don't think it will exceed the download limit provided you installed the basic zones etc from that one 3 CD set.

The entire expansion on the other hand, I dunno...maybe that guy is right and it will exceed download size....but just the human models being replaced....that should work.

I don't play EQ anymore so I don't have the file to send you. But if you have a friend just tell them you need Kpatch.exe located in the everquest directory...it's small so I think it will fit via e-mail fine.
