Even so it's still a nice accomplishment and I'm sure they're glad to be finished with it finally.

Well.. I don't really think its a big issue. Everyone got to the bottleneck, had time to work the event before they fixed it. As far as I know its not like some super secret strategy finally work, more like they just changed/fixed the encounter. If thats true then its not a huge deal to be first. If its not.. my bad, flame me.

anyways.. Grats to FoH on this one. Even those of us still a ways away from that encounter were excited to hear that that artificial cockblock was over and done with. Grats on the chance to take a breather.

Who gives a rats ass if AL beat them in. Who spent months and month 24/7 working to get there. Who pioneered the way to the Rathe Council. Who beat every other god before they where revamped, after they where revamped, etc, etc, first? Who SHOULD have gotten into PoTime first?

I say Gratz FoH, good show for a lot of effort and hard work!

Actually, not 100% sure on this, but I think Afterlife was first to kill Xegony, Rathe, Coirn, and Rallos as well (with TR getting Fennin), but FOH was never far behind. Really it doesnt matter, not on same server so its not like they will be competing for mobs there.

Like SWG is going to be any different. Well, other than the obvious like setting and models and all that. Still made by the same company who wants you to play as long as possible.

apparantly furor and OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of foh took one look at potime and were immensly pissed off, as said on their homepage
You have 14 Days. If after that time the Plane is not properly tuned, I am deleting my characters, and cancelling all of my accounts. The rest of my guild will follow suit, as will several other guilds and people that play Everquest.

To be brief, I did not work my ass off, jumping through your idiotic hoops with my friends and guildmates, so I could go to a zone where only groups of 18 could enjoy the content. EVEN if past these initial moronic events I can finally get my entire guild in to raid with me, FUCK YOU GUYS. Seriously, FUCK YOU.

I cannot believe this... right now I'm just so pissed off. I am sitting here in the Plane of Time, and 3/4 of my guild is just sitting around while a group of 18 is repeatedly trying to beat one of the mini ring encounters. Don't you people have ANY FUCKING DECENCY? SMEDLEY WHY DON'T YOU STOP COUNTING YOUR MONEY AND START ISSUING ORDERS?

The tragic irony of creating the ultimate cockblock encounter in the form of the Rathe which requires 80 people to defeat and then to limit encounters in the Plane of Time to 18.

14 Days.... after that this site will change from the most popular EQ fan site on the internet to the most popular World of Warcraft fan site on the internet. I'm done playing ball with you useless fuckers... it's my turn.

Didn't mean to deduct anything from their accomplishment, a sincere grats to them. I personally think they are a better guild than Afterlife. I was merely expressing that I felt a little sorry that AL got there first.
We will see how the tuning goes and what happens from here now.

NDA... =/
Well considering the SWG manual is already posted on the net... Oh and the fact I'm never playing another SOE game again.. NDA doesn't mean much to me.

SWG won't be as popular as EQ, nor will it have the same kind of staying power.

Not until some really smart developers that played EQ and understand what made EQ popular design a MMORPG there will never be another EQ.

SWG looks great but it also looks like it was designed by a committee. Just reading their PVP rules with all that overt and covert shit made my fucking head ache. All that player crafting is fine but what the people really want are either a) loot or b) the hope that one day they will get loot. Loot is the only thing that ties huge guilds together and the only thing that keeps people from playing ages after they're fucking bored with the game.

Virtual communities are no different than real ones. The only thing most players want in a MMORPG is to look cooler and have better shit than everyone else. Design your game around that concept and you will be a millionaire in a year.
