No. Negative. None of the above.

Minnesota is a regional enclave of hockey awareness in the US, but it is insignificant beside the wealth of hockey talent that Canada as a nation produces. Guys like Mike Modano and Dino Ciccarelli (whoa re damned fine players, make no mistake) vs legends Gretzky, Lemieux, Hull, Howe, Lafleur, Bossy, Richard... No comparason at all.

And the Wild are not going to beat the Canucks.
