Read this article at TIME.com about cluster bombs used in Iraq. Interesting read, and I think it shows some of the problems they are facing right now. I really don't understand why the military wont cooperate with the relief workers to get areas cleared up ASAP.
Anyway, good read. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/artic ... 40,00.html

I know this. I was using sarcasm to make a statement. The US is patting themselves on the back for fighting a "humane war" and "only targetting the regime" while they spray cluster bombs all over public areas. It makes me want to puke.
If this ever happened in the US people would be crying tragedy. Everyone would whine and cry and Bush would find a new excuse to attack someone else. But it's okay that it happened in Iraq because of how they only blew up bad guys.

i feel your sarcasm is out of place
the cluster bombs were used against infantry positions. there are a lot more operations that you and I are unaware of, including the placement of landmines via the gator deployment system, etc. These usually have self destruct placed in them, but still, they don't always. This will cause many deaths as well.
