New server name...

In appreciation for those that have been EverQuest players from the very beginning, this server will be named after one of these long-standing player's character. SOE will randomly pick 8 of the first 1,000 players who subscribed to EverQuest and who are still playing and then SOE will select one character name from each account. Current EverQuest players will be allowed to vote on which one of those names should be used for the new server.

I've always thought Dregor-Thule server would be nice! Sadly, I don't think I was one of the first 1000 people to sign up, was 2 months after it opened

Too bad Poopiepants (friend of mine who got me into EQ) doesn't play any more. He came from beta and was definately one of the first people to sign up...

Well Slee didnt make Slee til kunark (considering hes an iksar and all) but then again his first character was around at release so I guess it would prolly be possible haha. Dont think anyone would vote for it though

Someone who had a large impact or is extremely popular...Furor would have it hands down IMO...if not for having his other characters banned(Kalaran...)

Some may recall that the servers were totally Fubar'd the first week. Some of us that were in the beta couldn't even sign up due to the overload : )

I think my born on date is March 17, 1999 for Winnow. When was the first day EQ servers went live? I remember not being able to log on for a day or two.
