A Man Apart

Post by Apollyon »

Went and saw this last weekend, expecting it to be up to snuff with Fast and The Furious or XXX, since its Vin Diesel's latest movie. I wouldn't exactly say it sucked, but it sure wasn't edge-of-your-seat like the previous two movies he put out. I won't be getting this one in DVD, that's for sure.

That's because this movie wasn't directed toward high school students.

I liked the movie. True it wasn't like the other movies but it did entertain me. Lots of twists that were somewhat predictable but nothing too horrible. Just love the Vin. I can't wait for the sequel to Pitch Black comes out.

Been waiting for a review to pop up on this one. So, is this movie not necessarily an "action" flick and more of an "action-Drama" flick?

Oh there is action just not the high explosive shit you see in XXX. The movie only has a few lull points in it and is fun to watch.

It wasn't terrible.

Some of the dialogue made me cringe and some scenes were painful to watch but you shouldn't really expect anything less from this type of movie.

It was fairly entertaining and at no point did I feel the urge to get up and leave the theatre.
