The power of one! George W. Bush

Post by Metanis »

From last week's Time magazine...

http://www.time.com/time/magazine/artic ... 02,00.html
George W. Bush has shown himself to be a real leader. And he now owns a bit of history to prove it.
I'm writing my check to the Republican Party today. This man needs to be re-elected. Then maybe Jeb will run in 2008 :) Life is good!

Well, good for you Met. Personally, I will be voting for anyone else but the man who lead the nation to war.

From the Flamer's Guide to the Internet --

Rule #34: When you bait, you're not supposed to tell people you're baiting. It takes the fun out of it.

He's not really baiting though; he really is that much of an ass sucking sycophant to anyone the voices on his conservative radio station tell him to like.

considering GW Bush is not the one to credit with this Iraqi campaign, I'm not sure what the point is.

On September 13th 2001, Rumsfeld et al. wanted to invade Iraq in "response" to 9/11. This war was 12+ years in the making and if you wish to give credit, give it to Cheney, Wolfowitz, and Rumsfeld. It was their agenda. Bush simply signed off on it.

yet more proof that all you need to do to be a good President is cause a war with some poor insignificant fucks and you pull the wool over the totally ignorant, politically naive segment of america which causes so much internal strife.

*edit* i'll be reading Greenspan's memoirs and crying.
