Charms

Post by Soriathus Serpentine »

Reply if you got one or there's one you want. Who/Where it drops from and time involved to get it would also be nice but those reading this thread could always look it up on Allakazams. Or if you could at least link to Allakazams or some place that has infoz on your charm.

I personally plan on hunting for one when working on my blood of nadox questing in LoY, not sure which one I want to hunt for though...

I changed the option:
"Charms suck, I don't plan on getting one until they are worthwile"
to
"I don't plan on getting one until they are worthwile and/or make more sense"

when one doesnt involve farming green mobs in quest form and actually drops in a zone i might actually find myself in, then maybe i guess i'll be interested.

oh and when you get more than 7hps unless you free 7 general inventory slots, have unbuffed PR of 250 and walk backwards everywhere then you get 20 hps.

The idea of charms is cool, but they need to start adding them to regular loot pools in older zones...

Even if you're not a guild leader or officer, the guild management tool is awesome....

The new LOY zones, extra bank space and map tool are more than worth it. The LFG tool is a bit of a bust though.

If I didn't have LoY, I'd pay for LoY just for Cartography... let alone Guild Management, Group Lookup Tool, Spells, Dyes, etc, etc, etc.

It's not really a "I wanna map permafrost" more like, oh this is the first time I've ever been in Plane of Nightmare B and I've got a map already because I downloaded a full map pack of EVERY SINGLE map in the GAME. and it's zoomable, interactive, and if your sense heading is 200 even shows you as an arrow showing the direction you're facing.

As far as the other features, I can see how you wouldn't want LoY, but still for cartagraphy alone it's DAMN worth it IMO. Also you are very lucky to have half your bank empty.

waiting for a charm that is easy to get, not going to spend as much time as it would take to camp a T-Staff just to get some 5cha shit, they need to make them a LOT more accessable IMO...

About the only charms that I see are even worth the trouble are the haste charms. But then, listening to my guildmates bitch, the camps can be anywhere from a few hours to a week.

Actually I might, if it wasn't only usable on the 6th sunday of every month ending in h. The charms are ok at best, the odd restrictions blow

Affectively, they introduced a new slot to show to give us some individuality as all charms were no drop and would break up where you had been to get them. Then they introduced the Intricate Wooden Figurine, now everyone has one slot in common with everyone else. Huzzah!
