We will all be back at BR 1 and starting from scratch. I guess the good thing is that a couple of you *coughstragicougharanuilcough* will actually be off of weapons lock. Now that you have some experience under your belt, do you intend to build yourself up along the same path/playstyle that you did in exclusive beta?

I know that I will be grabbing that Mosquito with my cert points and may even go to the damn VR training to grab a few extra certs so I can get the Reaver before I hit the real world.

You get BEP for everything you use in the VR trainers. 100-200 BEP for everything will add up to a few levels and some extra certs before you ever hit the field.

I think the devs said that you could be level 5 or so if you went and did everything in the VR area and interacted with all of the diferent consoles in the Sanctuary.

Anyone found any implants that are better than another?
So far I have tried the shield one, audio one, and the advanced targeting one.
None of those seemed all that impressive.

I'm not on weapons lock when playing my infiltrator. Only when I'm playing my combat med.

At BR1 you'll have 4 points. Alledgedly for doing all of the VR training, you'll have up to 6. So really the first thing to do is to head into the VR training rooms, and use every weapon, and every vehicle right away.

As it is, now, I will likely be working on two characters similar to the ones I have now. However I will not be creating a medic again. AMS + Hacking > Med skills atm. So basically, I'll have a heavier weapons guy again, and an infil/hacker/vehicle specialist.

For all but infiltrators, I would say that the best implant by far is darklight, then I would say advanced regen. For infiltrators, I think advanced regen should be gotten first.

You start out with three cert points. You DO NOT get six when you complete VR training, but you will get enough exp to get to level 2 maybe 3. So it equals to 4 or 5 total.

I went the same route... though I find sniper kind of useless.

As far as implants go, Darklight Vision is the shit. With infiltrator suit on, i just cloak up and hunt other cloaked peeps.

Sniper is VERY situational, and more fire support than direct combat. If you think of how (poorly) snipers were done in counterstrike, you'll be disappointed.

Going for infil/eng/then adv eng.

Took me awhile to get the eng down, but personally I think I will excel in it

This time I will work towards the invis suit. Also going for mele implant. Invis +mele implant = knife = sweet!!

If we start defending bases once we take them. Eng's will be highly sought out.

Anyways,
I really enjoy this game. Since I am playing it with people I know it makes it even better.

Infiltrator/Wraith/Dual Cycler MAX/Hacker, maybe Mosq or Reaver, and Adv Hax eventually. Hack center, hack equip console, get MAX, root in CC
