Man every morning i wake up i dread walking out that door to another day of working in the hell hole. Make it stop.

Nah, I love my job.
I get paid slightly substandard to deal with a massive amount of peoples crap, simply because I work for an HMO.
When you get a bill, and you call us up and bitch me out, yeah I will get it paid, but I still secretly hate you.
And I have access to ALL your personal information.

I like my job so far, only been here for 2 months tho, and so far it seems like I get paid to play on the internet, oh yea and fix things when that comes up, but in the mean time, play to my hearts content, and the paycheck is fat as hell. /yawn 8-5 m-f job is nice.
I work weekends at Best Buy also, but thats just for the discount on gadgets and stuff.

I used to hate my job. I hated the people running networks I supported, I hated the company I worked for, I even started to hate computers in general. I'm much happier now that my computer nerdery is just a hobby again. I miss the phat cizash a little, but I miss Tampa not at all.
If you hate your job, you should quit. People always say to find another job first, but I've found unemployment to be a great motivator on job searches.

I love my job.
I am a one-man department with a large degree of autonomy to get problems fixed quickly.
I don't wait on others to get things done, and I rarely repeat the same task.
I take a fairly large pay hit to keep all that (my city doesn't pay well at all), but I absolutely won't give it up until they force me to.

At the moment, I'm working at a daycare from 11:00 - 5:00 making $5.15 an hour. It isn't bad I sit on my ass all day and watch kids. During the summer I'll be working from 9:30 - 5:30 making the same, but its all basically me sitting on my ass. I love my job cause its so easy.

I like my job about 40% of the time, testing new hardware and software is fun, arguing with developers and product managers sucks, as does writing ~100 page whitepapers. Seeing what I can do to break things is fun too. The pay, benefits and all that are decent, though I could do significantly better elsewhere, especially working for myself. I'm to lazy to be an consultant (again) though, and I hate traveling
I work from home and don't have to travel, and have almost 0 chance of being fired. That makes finding a better job difficult. Though I do look.

I pretty much loved my job until last Thursday when they fired me. I was a victim of bullshit politics. They wanted to fire my boss but had no real means of doing it so they eliminated their IT department altogether. Thus I get shafted.
Not too bad though actually. They gave me a 4 weeks severance and I no longer have to drive 45 minutes each way. With the new baby I am treating this as my version of Maternity leave. Now to buy some resume paper.

My job is ok. There's room to grow if I want it.
It baffels me that some people make thier job thier life. A job/career is probably the least important aspect of my life and always will be.
The owner of my company died last week at the age of 60. He worked almost every day of his life for 45 years building this company. At the end of his life, his company was the least of his concerns and I'm certian he regretted not spending more time with his family and friends.
My own needs/friends/family/relationships will always be lightyears ahead of anything work related.

All the friends I've had that have worked in a strip club have hated it. The only exception is a guy who was working as the DJ, he thought it was the easiest job ever. Apparently the thing that makes strip clubs great, is the same thing that makes them suck to work at, lots of beautifull women. You get a bunch of beautifull women together like that, and there's bound to be a certain level of cattiness that comes out, and according to my friends they weren't very particular about what employess they took it out on.
