This is the biggest electronic music concert I've ever seen. It was Saturday at Bayside in Miami Beach. Ten stages, fifteen hours, and enough DJ's and groups to fill them all. Jungle, trance, house, drum & bass, performance artists, and more. Just unbelievable.
Definitely one of the best weekends in a while for me. The girls on the club scene there were SO hot and friendly, the music was off the hook, and my brain still hurts.

just be happy you made it out alive.
when i went to visit my friends down there i would always think on the Friday as i'd be driving across the Venetian Causeway thinking why did i ever leave this paradise.
Sunday afternoon i'd be crossing into Broward County happy to still be alive!*
* for those who think miami is some sort of urban criminal hellstorm, this is not what i'm talking about. i'm talking more along the lines of liver failure whatever

Friday we went to Crowbar where Timo Maas was spinning. We caught the last few songs of the opening act, Dirty Vegas (they do the song from the Mitsubishi commercial w/ that crazy dancing girl), they were pretty good. When Timo started spinning, the place really got crazy. Several hours into his set, everyone on the dance floor starts screaming and looking up at the DJ booth. One of the spots comes on, and Puffi is up there, w/ a copy of his new dance song. It was a very stalthy entrance, no huge entourage or any big fuss, he just popped in to see how his song went over. It blew the roof off the place. The club was packed all night, which is pretty impressive considering it closed at 7AM.
