The Coalition

Post by Dregor Thule »

Here's a list of the American coalition so far. If you've never heard of most of these places, don't feel bad; most people haven't.

Afghanistan, Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Japan (post conflict), Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan.

No real surprises there. The major countries we already knew about, and the minor ones mean jack shit. Phear the El Salvadorian Elite Musketeers. Japan is the only one making me shake my head, but at least they're post-conflict only. They have a law preventing them from declaring war btw.

I thought all countries were against us? And we know secretly that Russia is backing us, don't we.

Put in to perspective, it nearly is the entire world against you. Someone should write up a list of all the countries not in this coalition. Make sure you don't include Ethiopia tho, they're for war! They can't feed their own people, but they can back a U.S. war!

Things were a lot less confusing (and easier to spell) when countries like Georgia, Uzbekistan, Estonia, Azerbaijan, etc. were just collectively called USSR. :D

NE Africa.. borders Ethiopia and Sudan and the Red Sea. It's a new country gained independance about 10 years ago or so from Ethiopia.

For all those people ashamed of their country there is probably a plane leaving in the next couple of hours you can head out on.

I don't agree with everything, nor the way things were necessarily done but I'm not ashamed of my country.

Now go through that list and count those that will be sending troops into Iraq. Even with formal requests from dumbya most are not, most notably IMHO Spain isn't.

The only ones I'm aware of are the US, UK and Australia (agreed after the request by Bush). Any others?

PS. Fuck you miir

The answer is simple: power. He could move to Europe, buy a phat castle, a few cars, some servants, fly womenz and a private jet :D But power is all he wants. IF and when we get rid of him he may regret not leaving...

I don't think Forbes polls him about his net worth, but he's got to be close to the richest guy in the world. Sitting on a good portion of the world's oil supply for 30 years... I can't even imagine what kind of money he's made off of that. The power must be the only thing that can satiate that crazy megalomaniac.

Yes. In his wisdom, our Prime minister has decided to send Danish naval troops to Iraq. And *that* is why I am ashamed.

Marbus, I am not an American citizen, I don't live in the US, and I see no reason why Denmark should be involved in Bush's war.
