Anaeran & Spectrez from RoW

Two more people to watch out for...

I was in acrylia today, in a group of 3, killing all 10 of the possessed corpses in that camp. Spectrez comes over and watches us kill all 10, (no more than 2 up at any moment, the one we were killing and the one we were about to pull), and says "you will share" we discuss it, and then he walks away. A short while later, he's back with his friend Anaeran, and they basically decide these 10 mobs are two camps, and they're taking one of them. Stuck with 6 pops instead of 10, we stick it out to finish an aa point (an hour or so) and then head out.

It wouldn't have bothered me so much, except just two or three nights earlier, the situation was reversed, Spectrez was there with Anaeran not there, but inc from another zone, I asked to share (just me and one other) and offered to leave if they were ever waiting for a pop. (Which Spectrez said was fine.) Anaeran died on the way in, (these guys like to get to the corpses area by being banished from the Ring of Fire (/boggle)), I took a break, dragged his corpse and rezed it (no charge / donation and no clicker). Even cast an aego on him. Once they'd recovered and got setup, there weren't quite enough mobs, so I left as agreed.

So, my words to the wise, watch out when Anaeran and Spectrez are around.

I don't quite understand what your problem is here. We once shared a camp with you there and we have had to split 2 camps with several others who had come in to exp in that area as well. From what i understand (and what people tell me) that area is actually 2 camps. I asked you nicely which of the 2 camps you'd prefer to have and when you elected to take the larger area we respected your camp. How does this make us assholes? Why do we deserve to be flamed on public boards? If anyone posts here saying that area is all ONE camp i will personally apologize to Jerrith, but until then i will believe what i have been told.

As for RoW being assholes to GoV, if you refer back to your guildmates you'll find we've helped you guys out on more than one occasion in the past. GoV are good people, not quite sure what your deal is. Anyways, flaming on a public board isn't a good way to deal with a situation.

If someone could clarify the 2 camp issue it'd be much help. thanks all-

This reminds me of one of those fresh prince episodes, you know the one when Will is explaining his case to the judge about what happened at the pool party and it makes him look all innocent and his uncle look all bad and junk. Then the Uncle gives his story about him being so nice and Will being this jerk. ^_^

Well anyway,
1. I asked you if you would share the camp,not tell..asked..and you responded by snapping at me about it.
2. Your group consists of 2/3 of the group being two boxed by yourself. Your beast lord, and Luha (who didn't respond to any tells)
3. I didn't walk away, I went afk for an hour or so.. didn't even walk up to you to be able to walk away.
4. If we could take the mobs fine by ourselves that night, why did we generiously allow you to share our camp?
5. If it was reversed, wouldn't that mean you would share too?
6. Someone can't call claim to more than one room of a zone..its like Frenzy and CE in velks.. can't claim both..even though Frenzy can take CE mobs and maintain the Frenzy pops at the same time.
7. Neither of us got Aego if you remember correctly, I had aego already on me from a previous raid the night before and we requested for you not to buff Anaeran due to it wasting your mana.
8. Shouldn't this be under Retards board not general?
9. Shouldn't I be jackassed already?!?!
10. There are 12 mobs..not 10..you didn't want the other 2 because they were light blue.
11. All of Jerrith's post is just a "He stole my orc warrior! no fair!" post

My problem is that you and Spectrez muscled your way into a camp that was being totally killed by my group. This is generally considered rude and it bothered me considerably, so I thought I'd share with everyone here.

When Spectrez was there first, he asked me not to come, and then agreed to have me on the condition that I leave if there's a lack of mobs. When I was there first, I clearly demonstrated there was a lack of mobs before you arrived, and instead of doing the same, you decided to interfere with my group, and slow down our exping.

I have split the camp with people (besides you) before when neither party has a force to kill all the spawns. That was clearly not the case today. My "electing" to have the six inside the larger area was nothing more than a reply along the lines "don't steal my mobs, but if you're going to, at least don't steal the closest ones."

You deserve to be flamed because you knowingly and intentionally came to the zone to interfere with my group's enjoyment of the game, to your own personal benefit.

And along your apology line... (not that I'm expecting anyone to say anything...) If anyone posts here saying that they claim the camp as two distinct camps (aka "corpses 1" and "corpses 2" or "corpses north" and "corpses south") instead of one (aka "corpses") I will personally apologize to Anaeran. Until then, I stand by my post.

As for RoW being assholes to GoV, if you refer back to your guildmates you'll find we've helped you guys out on more than one occasion in the past. GoV are good people, not quite sure what your deal is. Anyways, flaming on a public board isn't a good way to deal with a situation.

1. I didn't have my log on, so I'm not sure exactly what I said, but when I'm exping, my replies tend to be brief, as I'm concentrating on fighting. Perhaps this is what you heard?

2. What does two boxing have to do with this?

3. I thought you'd walked up. Walked into the room perhaps? Anyways, it's hardly relevant...

4. You let me take your leftovers, which didn't affect you at all, and when it did affect you, you wanted me to leave. Not exactly generous.

5. If it was reversed, I would be more than happy to share any mobs that were not being killed, as I've done before with others. In this case, they were all being killed, and I would expect you to respect that.

6. Camps are simply a fiction that is useful for players. If you'd like a good example of a multi-room camp, look no further than DC in KC. (Not that I've been in that zone in months.) I have never seen this camp called as anything other than "corpses". One camp of 10 blue corpses.

7. You already had Aego, true, but Anaeran got it after the rez, I don't recall anything about me not wasting mana.

8. No, it's a valid "flame" about two people deserving of such.

9. Before you post? No.

10. Most people I know think exping on light blue mobs is kinda silly. Besides, they're not in the room. That means they're a third camp, right?

11. You'd think after 60 levels, people would learn not to steal mobs. Sadly, some people never learn. I'm not trying to whine, or be annoying, I'm simply presenting the facts to alert others to your behavior.

Doesn't sound like they muscled into anything. The camps are apparently viewed by all as seperate.

Without KEI, me and a wizard can keep the entire toiler area in Maiden's Eye dead the minute they spawn. That doesn't mean I'm going to bitch when other soloers, duo's and groups show up.

Zoned in to Acrylia a little while ago... /who. 3 members of Primus Exodus. /ooc Camp Check? those undead by the lava. They offered to share, I asked how many they were killing / how many I could expect to get... They had 8, I was welcome to the just the other two.

I'm not familiar with that spot in Maiden's (I avoid that zone whenever I can). So I can't really say how it may or may not compare.

I have yet to meet anyone other than these two that are familiar with the area and consider it to be more than one camp. (If you've been there Searyx, let us know.) It's a camp that can be easily shared if you don't have many people there, but still just one camp.

I've camped this spot a couple times sharing with Jerrith. I like to think we were both very respectful of each other. On either occasion one of us asked the other who was there first if we would mind sharing, we said 'go ahead' and continued with our business.

I've had the same experience with these 2 chumps that Jerrith did (well in all fairness, I only had the pleasure of talking to Spectrez). He asked if I would share, I said 'of course' and everything went beautifully until his boyfriend came to play. Then he tried telling me that I wasn't pulling the mobs I was camping for 4 hours prior to him getting there fast enough. I tried explaining to him that druids have to do this thing called 'medding' but I think it went over his head. They started pulling every mob as it popped. So when I asked him to please be respectful of me, he went off on a rampage similar to that of a 12 yr old. So I told him to fuck himself and he put me on ignore *cry*.

Either way, they're schmucks. I'm not wasting my time on either of them. I couldn't really care but from my experience with both Jerrith and schmuckass (aka spectrez), I'd venture to say Jerrith was not in the wrong.

edit: because reading it now that I'm actually awake, I realize that missing words out of sentences doesn't help me get my point accross.

I get similar situations in groups in Sebilis regarding chef/bar, d1/d2. My motto is, if i am killing it then i am camping it. If someone comes into the camp my group is not based in and tells me its a seperate camp then I say ~I was killing these mobs first, so I'm going to continue to pull them. kthxbye~ and usually end up training them because they try to tag my pulls away from me. Its pretty funny though ^^

Christ, there is plenty of mobs to get xp off around the place its not like you need to bitch and moan cos someone is already at your favorite spot. Just ask them to shoot you a tell when they leave, and if they are a reasonable person they probably will let you know when its free.

Laneela, to make pulls easier and less downtime.. we fear the skellies and snare them.. thus you thought we were "stealing" your mobs when they were near yours. And right before then if you remember correctly,you said we could pull the mobs in the way while you were medding. When you were finished, we stopped pulling the mobs you claimed to be yours. (which also if you remember correctly were the 6 in the fire pit room, which you then gave us the "2nd camp" of the room next to it) I don't try to play a "nice guy". (great jackie chan movie btw ^_^) I am one.

So by my understanding.. one misunderstood/bad experiance makes me a schmuck? And since you had a handful of good experiances with Jerrith makes him all nice and everything? I don't get that.. Its like saying oh that guy took the last copy of a movie at blockbuster, I hate him and hes a schmuck. But the guy that robbed the store one week earlier loans you a copy of the movie for a week and hes all high and mighty in your eyes? (headache right now..that is such a cruddy example lol)

If you say you don't care, why even bother replying to any of this? This is past news, lets move on.

If a MoB pops, and you don't kill it, you're going to lose it. If you're constantly medding while MoBs are standing there, then you're not worthy of the camp, and should go someplace else.

It's like the fuckers at the Frenzy spawn who get pissed when the Eyes start picking off MoBs that have been sitting there for hours because they don't have enough mana/skill too keep up with the spawn rate.

Let's apply that logic to another situation!

Guild A zones into DN, sees Zland up, begings prepping to move down to take him out.

At the same time, Guild B just finishes a named in WToV, someone finds out Zland is up, so they head over there to kill him(still buffed from killing named in WToV.)

So by that logic, Guild B would have a perfect right to move past Guild A and kill Zland cause they were already buffed and didn't need to med and prep, yes?

Just because you can't kill a mob the second it pops doesn't mean someone has the right to kill it for you. If you're killing it in a reasonable amount of time, other people should gtfo.

Reasonable for an xp camp defined in <5 or so mins, raid defined in at least throwing a first shot together within 20 mins, in my opinion.

Like others have said, if someone is already clearing the place you were interested in GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. It's not that fuckin hard.

And no, RoW has not helped GoV out many times. In fact, for the most part, RoW was a pain in GoV's ass every time we interacted(at least while I was still GoV, which was up until about a week ago.) There are some nice folks in your guild, but as a whole, I daresay most people I've talked to about the matter(admittedly not that many, it's not precisely a pressing concern

) dislike RoW.

That's one of my favorite camps when triboxin. Just with my crew I can take out 12-14 of the spawns there (don't forget about the 4 in the HP room) before the next spawn cycle.

Sharing this area to me means that one group takes the inside area near the lava and the other is below the stairs pulling everything else down there. I can't imagine sharing the 10 to 14 spawns above.

Also, you can JOIN FORCES if you wish and the exp bonus from doing so would benefit everyone. Plus you could probably kill more mobs faster getting more exp for everyone involved. Just have one person be a designated puller and pull constantly, just don't let it be Ransure or he'll keel joo.

LMAO Spectrez is in a flame war! Albiet not a very interesting one... I still find it entertaining. I don't think I've ever seen him try to flame someone.

As for Spectrez being an asshole though? Oh man... this one time he made me leave an exp group at the zoneout in seb to go brew some shit for him for the 9th coldain ring! Asshole? You bet! I'll never forgive him for that one.
