Can anyone tell me...

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

Can anyone tell me...

All my life people always say 'if I knew what was in hot dogs I wouldnt eat em', well what about these garden hot dogs, the meatless ones, do they use mostly unused parts of veggies? or are the meatless dogs the ones everyone warned me about?

If you live in Ney York, do not eat hot dogs.

Hot dogs are usually composed of all the left over crap they can't/wont sell in a supermarket, so the grind it and put it in a sausage type package once it is like paste, let is harded in a freezer, whola. Hot dog.

Intestines, stomache, skin, ears, nose, feet, testicles, etc.

Lets not mention that whatever falls into the "vat" while it is mixing.

I heard a story of a factory worker in a hot dog plant that fell in and was ground up with the meat in the 1920's.
They sold the meat anyway.

That happened about 5 years ago as well, although not with hot dogs. Here where I live is the main plant for ADM. They were processing something that goes into Pepsi syrup and a guy fell onto the belt. Whether they still used it or not I don't know, but still very nasty to think about it.

I worked in a meat plant for a year.

So do you like salami, pepperoni etc? :)

If you saw how any of that stuff was made, you really would not want to eat it. So instead, just sit back and enjoy your meat products, because in the end it's cooked, and the bacteria is destroyed, and that's all that really matters!

Chris Rock said it best: "I'll eat a pig's ass if it's cooked right!"

Gelatin is pretty much made from boiled animal bones and tendons - so it's safe to say that anything with gelatin in it (jello, gummy bears, jelly beans) is going to contain some animal parts.
