"I don't feel like he's up for a fight" - Mike Tyson's Trainer, two days ago.
Mike Tyson came out looking for a knockout against Clifford "The Black Rhino" Etienne and got it in just 49 seconds. Both fighters exchanged punches in the center of the ring until Tyson landed a monster right hand that ended the fight. Referee Bill Clancy counted out Etienne. After the fight, Tyson said he's not interested in "getting beat up again" by Lennox Lewis and that he needs two more fights before taking a rematch with Lewis. (More to come)
Akaran of Mistmoore, formerly Akaran of Veeshan I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.
Etienne is a no talent assclown.
He was in it strictly for the $$ and went down like a little bitch.
Don King has to line up patsys to take dives to build up Tyson/Lewis 2.
It will be Tyson's last big money fight. You can't blame him for trying to milk it.

What a total letdown. Everyone expected a KO early in the main event, but omg. Both of the other fights sucked, too. Getting knocked in the balls then falling down x 2 != entertaining. They could have at least thrown Harding in there for an exhibition match or something.
Tyson was a good boxer at one time and I enjoyed following his career up until he got in with Don King. That guy ruined Tyson in my opinion or at the very least pushed him completely over the edge. Now Tyson is just a trained monkey. Five years from now he will be penniless and homeless and doing guest spots somewhere with Gary Coleman.
I'd agree that he took a fall, but that hit did seem like it would make him think twice of atleast "trying" to make it seem real. His body was limp as he went down. He also was a fucking joke. Did you see the shape he was in? He had like man tits.
The sad thing is that Holyfield could unretire again and still whip Tyson's ass. Lewis is gonna beat Tyson's ass, no matter how many gimps Tyson chews on before.

Tyson/Lewis wasn't a letdown.

Tyson was never a good boxer.
Tyson is a brawler who uses brute force to dominate his opponents.
Back in the day when Tyson had his origional trainer (2 bouts before the Buster Douglas fiasco) Tyson was a VERY good boxer with the most devastating 4 punch combination you would ever not want to see(timed at 1.2 secs) coming at you. Watch early Tyson, watch his use of his left and the vicious body shot combo's, Tyson was a machine, and he had a damn good programmer (trainer) back when he was hungry for more then just damn ears.
