Birds of Prey - is it really cancelled?

Birds of Prey - is it really cancelled?

Post by Kguku »

Ok, I thought Birds of Prey was cancelled, and this was the only season they were going to have of it.

However tonight the 'season finale' is on. But wasn't the 'series finale' on a couple of weeks ago?

Anyone know what the deal is on this?

Never even heard of this show. Was it any good? Or was it so bad they cancelled it after one season?

It's a WB show.

Premise (sp?) is that Batman / Catwomans daughter is now a crime fighter in Gotham. Also has Batgirl as Oracle (after being paralyzed), and features metahumans (mutants basically).

I like it, though sometimes it drags out at parts in episodes.

That actually sounds pretty interesting. Was it animated?

Aside from lurking these boards, I do nothing but watch TV and go to class and never heard of this show.

no.

it was basically an excuse to show more cheesecake on television. it was a horrible show, but the drooling teenaged boys probably got a kick out of it.

Hey now teenage boys don't have a monopoly on drooling!

Edit: Yes it was cancelled, after 13 episodes I believe.

Forthe, I know it was supposed to be cancelled, a few weeks ago it was saying 'Series Finale'. Tonight it was the 'season finale'. So I really don't know what gives there.

I had thought it was dead and buried as well. Then I saw that they were having a 2 hour season/series finale? I managed to tape it last night but haven't seen it yet. I got too caught up in playing Mechwarrior.
