Upcoming Games And Games You Missed

I haven't bought a console game since Darksiders 2 and Lego Batman 2, well over 2 months ago. I've passed on games that normally would've been Day 1 purchases and we're coming into the upswing of year end releases for consoles. I thought it would be cool to make a thread where people could post their list of games they want. I'm limiting myself to the end of 2012 because I plan on keeping an eye out for crazy gaming deals in the next 2 months.

Missed, but still want:

X-Com
Dishonered
Resident Evil 6
Sleeping Dogs
Mark of the Ninja (xbl)
Prototype 2 (gotta be dirt cheap)
Alice: Madness Returns (dirt cheap)
Dark Souls (dirt cheap)

These are just off the top of my head and I'll be honest, I'm not sure how aggressively I'll be persuing a lot of these. However, as usual, if the price is really good I'll happily take the plunge.

I'm moving in 32 days. My house is currently a maze of boxes and a bunch of my console games have already been packed. What tiny game time I have is dedicated pretty much 100% to WoW right now. My children play my console games more than I do, which I guess makes me some sort of "adult" now. Grrrr. Anyway, I really look forward to hopefully/maybe/probably not playing more games in 2013. I am really excited about the next generation being right around the corner. We need it!

There are several B2G1 free deals at various stores coming up but I won't have any cash to spare until we close on the house. Even then, we have furniture to buy, floors to redo, and lots of painting in my near future. The good news is that by the time I'm ready to buy and play the games listed above, they'll be cheap as hell!

Ones I can think of offhand that I am interested in but will not purchase until < $30 - AC3, NFS:MW and Lego LotR. Not really sure what all else is coming out to be honest. I have enough games to keep me busy for awhile. Plus new EQ expansion in a month. Have to grind out some XP!

So, are MMOs a blessing or a curse for gamers? I mean, I basically missed out on the vast majority of the PS2 generation because of EQ. Many years later,as mich as I enjoy WoW I'm happy to put it on the side burner in order to concentrate on console games just for the sheer variety of gameplay, genres, and storytelling.

Haha, it took me 5 years in the current gaming generation to learn, but I've been doing really good in 2012 waiting for that price drop! I did a lot of bulk buying this year but the deals were all so good I count those as clear wins in my favor. Seriously, I got some excellent deals this year. Overall, more bang for my buck than any year prior even though the sale games weren't technically as good. I can count the number of full priced games on one hand. There were times when I bought that many in a month last year!

ACIII is putting me to sleep so far. Not a big fan of the Colonial times setting. HALO4 gave me motion sickness so not sure on that one yet but it seemed pretty good.

Last of Us looks good.

Yeah I'm pretty sure ill skip halo 4. The campaign will probably be fun, but the some of the most obnoxious people in the world play the multiplayer and it always ends up ruining Halo for me.

I think AC3 will be fun but not $60 fun. Also not sure I'll like the naval battle stuff but surely it has to be better than the tower defense crap that was in the last one.

Yeah I didn't even come close to finishing the last one. Just felt like an expansion to the one before it and I got bored. Definitely wont be paying full price if I get it.
