MLB Playoffs '11
MLB Playoffs '11
Tigers vs Yankees - Tigers in 3
Verlander > Sabathia
Fister > Verlander lately
Scherzer > ???
I can't imagine a single scenario where the Yanks win. And yes I'm awesomely biased.

I thought the crowd shots were classic. It was like they were expecting another inning or two.

Pulling for Tigers and Brewers. I hear Prince Fielder gets 3 tons of frankfurters if they make the WS.

Go D'Backs!
They've hit a grand slam in each of their last four home games. The problem is this final game isn't at home.
The D'Backs ace Ian Kennedy (21-4, 2.88 ERA, 288 Ks) is going up against a pitcher that is 6-0 against the Diamondbacks. Seems like he's due for a loss!
Early game. 2PM PST.

Close game! D'Backs loaded the bases in the 8th but couldn't get it done. Tied it up anyway to force extra innings.

'Backs did a great job. A very surprising team this season.
Admittedly, though, I have not been following too closely this season, being a sadpanda Mets fan and all...

Tigers / Rangers just started and I'm already edgy. I'm going to go bald this series.

That game last night was craaaaaaaaaaaaazy. I think that could be the best, most entertaining baseball game I've ever seen.

I didn't start watching this series until the 8th inning last night. Good game.

Tonight's game wasn't near as great. Grats to the Cardinals, though. They were an unlikely winner, considering how they made it into the playoffs and the teams they had to beat to get to the WS.
