I went to see this last night. It pretty much starts at a fast pace and then levels out for the rest of the movie. There are a lot of predictible parts but it wasn't horrible. I won't go into detail about the movie as some will still want to go see it. It compares probably closer to 28 Weeks but not as extreme than it would to a zombie movie.

It's reviewing well for a horror remake. I'll get it on DVD for sure. Looks like fun to me.

I was pretty excited for this when I saw the trailer last year. Hopefully it will stick around in the theaters for a bit as I have no time to go for a week or so. Bullock is a pretty shitty actor, imo (except for DEADWOOD, of course). Then again, he was pretty crappy for the most part in Deadwood, but the role fit his limited skills quite well!

Always up for zombie-like movies, of course. Never saw Romero's original though...should check it out!
