Yeah, I saw that yesterday, that's too bad. :(

I'm not a doctor by any stretch of the imagination, but between his pulmonary embolisms he had in the last couple years and now this stroke, I'd say that his sedentary lifestyle and constant chain smoking might have caught up with him.

I remember one stretch last season he was cranking down dozens of Monsters or something- it was crazy.

I liked Phil- I'll miss him on the show.

It might have been because of his condition and everybody's assumption that he was going to die soon, but he always commanded the most respect and attention of any of the captains during round table discussions on After the Catch.
