Watchable, not great.

Making the visitors act like politicians and secret service in public makes sense, acting the same way back on their ships clangs.

I agree that this is "watchable but not great" but I can't seem to stop watching it. I've seen the first 4 episodes so far and it's remained consistently "watchable but not great"

The acting is below average. The soundtrack is pretty canned.

I can't believe I just realized that Anna (The V Leader) is Inara from Firefly. I was thinking the entire first four episodes that she was Elf Girl from Heroes for some reason (I'm sure due to the hair).

This series is probably only for a few die hard Sci Fi fans that will tolerate some crappy acting.

While I agree the show has some sketchy acting, overall the plot is pretty solid, and the babe factor between the jailbait hotness of Lisa and the sentimental Firefly hotness of Anna is off the charts.
