I read somewhere that a lot of those NIS games would be available on the PSN as a digital download when the Go ships. I'm going to hold off cluttering myself with UMD's and will wait to see what happens.

Those are 3 earlier titles.
Disgaea (SRPG) and Prinny (platformer) are two excellent games.

What NIA is putting on the PSN tomorrow for 50% off. I'm including the metacritic score and some commentary for giggles.

Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light - 60
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness - 87 (Actually scored higher than the original PS2 game)
Dragoneer’s Aria - 56
Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This? - 70
Mana Khemia: Student Alliance - 41 (Seems to have been bashed because it's a very poor port. The PS2 original was 69)
Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? - 72

Student Alliance is just horrible on the PSP.

Pretty much nonstop loading and UMD access. Might be better as a download, installed on memory stick.

I'm really diggin the humor of this series. I've played about 20 minutes of disgea 1 and a level or two of Prinny

Yea, the story and humor get you hooked but the plethora of bizarre gameplay mechanics will keep you playing... and grinding.
Disgaea are some of the deepest, most complex games you'll ever play.
