Super excited that A Perfect Circle is in the game, and also glad to see Brand New, Jeff Beck and King Crimson amongst all the other good songs.

The main reason for this thread however is to let anyone who might buy this know something: If you buy the game in the first month it's out, you will get Guitar Hero: Van Halen for free. I'm not a big Van Halen fan but for free I'll definitely give it a play :)

I predict that you're the only person who will buy this game!

After multiple Guitar Heroes and Rock Bands... How is it possible for people to still get excited over a new release? Couldn't they just release these as a download pack for half the price?

And while I love Johnny Cash I don't think that song is a great fit for this type of game.

I quit this genre when they started selling the band kits for 66% of the price of the consoles that play them.

I enjoy Guitar Hero and Rock Band but I just haven't got space for all the accessories that are required to play them.
I need to buy a bigger house!!

Until then, I'll just play RB Unplugged on my PSP. :)

I haven't bought any of the new instruments in quite a while, no need to get them every time a new game comes out. I just buy the game only and use the guitars/drums/mic/etc I already have.

Yeah just buy the game and use old instrus.

What was fun in GH5 was the added challenges to unlock stuff, meaning its harder / almost impossible to unlock all stuff unless you find pros online with the specific instrus.

Before , you could just keep playing until you had gathered the correct amount of dosh to buy desired item.

For people who don't play online that actually sounds like a negative.

True, however I believe the stuff you unlock by doing those is like characters, outfits, etc. So it's not like there are songs you can't unlock because of it. I actually think GH games have been getting easier, World Tour seemed a bit that way and So does 5.
