I have 5 or 6 right now that I get from Best Buy for 5 bucks. Does anyone else preorder? If so, do you have a preference?
I use Best Buy because I get Best Buy points. Also, I know this sounds gay, but I like to have extra green 360 cases. Just the other day I had a Gamestop copy of Hawx with a sticker on the front of the case that I could not take off. I just swapped the artwork into my Fallout 3 preorder case and it's as good as new. I also like to keep everything organized and having the boxes in advance reserves the slot
I have the following preorders:
Assassin's Creed 2
Wolfenstein
CODMW2
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Bioshock 2 -------This one has come back to bite me since they just announced today that the game is going to be delayed. I think they plan on you losing your preorder box in the meantime.
I always find it odd that some games have preorders and others do not.
I think the Splinter Cell looks fantastic. I'm simply a sucker for Wolfenstein. The game has everything I like. I played the shit out of the last one. Having said that, I don't think this one will be as good as the last one, but I have my fingers crossed.
I have all of the below games reserved at Gamestop. I generally do it there because there are lots of games that will have in game content that is exclusive to the Gamestop copies. Also, I know the guys there as I've been buying games there since i was about 5 and it was a Funcoland. If there are any of the cool things you get for reserving games or buying the special editions or whatever they'll give me whatever.

You must not have kids!!! Between sports and all the money the kids cost in food and clothing and life in general I would never be able to buy all those as they came out.
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon
Haha, yeah no kids or anything here. It's likely I won't end up buying all of those depending on how they get reviewed/word of mouth/any demos that come out etc, but I just reserve everything to simplify things. I can always transfer the $5 I put down to another game if I want.
I do need to spend less money on video games though.. I have over 70 for the 360 alone, and the number of them that are unplayed or half finished is getting out of control.
