BlazBlue Calamity Trigger

Post by miir »

I'll be getting my copy today and I played this for a few hours at a friends place on the weekend... if you have any interest in fighting games, you absolutely MUST get this game.

The backgrounds and characters are absolutely gorgeous.
If you've played any of the Guilty Gear games, you'll know how much detail these guys put into the characters.

It's an easy game to get into even if you're not a fighting game fanatic.

But the absolute fucking coolest thing about the game is remote play support...
Provided you have a PSP with an internet connection, you can play BlazBlue from your PS3 anywhere.
I'm really at a loss for words to explain how insanely fucking cool that is.

Hmmmm, it looks a lot like Street FIghter:

The game has to match the pure awesomeness of that moment in gaming history, then it's more than just the pretty background graphics!

here's the full fight:

I can watch part of this math over and over and still get fired up. I'm not into fighting games but for some reason this was cool.

The Guilty Gear games have been fighting tournament staples for over 10 years.

Cool, show me one of their matches that is like the one above so I can compare. Who is their "Daigo?"

It's getting good reviews, but I think it looks horrible. I'm soured on SF4 anyway. I'm staying away from fighters!

BlazBlue is way more noob friendly than SF4.
