That was brilliant.

Obama's speech was pretty funny as well. Not as good as Hodgeman's, but some very good laughs and some ballsy jokes that we're directed at the audience, some of which the audience was not too happy with. I don't think they expected so much dark humor and flamage from our president.

I found it incredibly refreshing. Far from perfect, but he's not a stand-up comic.

I didn't find it all that funny and a little more on the nervous humor side because some parts weren't that great.

The idea behind it was good though. Maybe if they had a better speaker than the PC guy.

He's done a lot more than Mac commercials. He's been one of the best correspondents on The Daily Show for years and has had many other great roles and cameos(hell, he played a doctor in season 4 of Battlestar Galactica!!). He's a brilliant satirist and was a perfect choice for the Radio and TV correspondents' dinner.

No knowing his background beyond PC guy and the BSG Doctor role, I didn't feel it was that great of a roast. The material was good, except for not slamming Obama on being a smoker.
