NetIQ Monitoring, Reporting and Security Audit Solution

I am about to gather quotes for NetIQ and I really do not know too much about it. Great huh? well, I got the green light from CTO a bit sooner than I had anticipated so....

Anyone have experience with NetIQ's products? Configuration Manager, AppManager, Aegis, etc...

I am wanting to monitor:

SQL Server
IIS
Windows
Citrix
VMWare
LAN/WAN
blah

...

Problem is there are so many products that I am not sure what to be looking at! Any direction appreciated!

I've used other stuff (What'sUp, IPMonitor, OpsManager, Nagios, Quest) and have written my own as well. Never used NetIQ though. Good luck though! and let me know how it works out for you.
