So here's the deal.. I recently bought a new HD and I just used the norton program that came with it to make a exact copy of my old HD on the new one. I was going to uninstall my old nero but when I tried to I got an error stating the file path was invalid (I'm guessing cause of the new HD). So I started to manually delete all the files.
At this point, I've manually deleted every file I can find associated with nero, and I've deleted all the registry entries for the program as well.
Problem is, when I try to install the new version of nero, it's still saying it found nero 7 on my computer.. OK, so then it gives me the option to remove it as part of the install process, but then I get a "invalid paths" error too, most likely cause the files it's trying to find don't exist anymore I would guess??
So what I need to figure out is how the hell I can make this work, cause burning stuff in iTunes just won't cut it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Nero installation issue
if that doesn't work, try http://www.ccleaner.com Use the registry cleaning option.. works pretty well.. make sure you run it like three times though to make sure it got everything out.
