The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter."
He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.
The man is 100% class.
Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out, Mr. President.
EDIT: No, this is not a joke. After I read what I quoted, it looks like something The Onion would write. Unfortunately, this is true.
But one thing I do respect about him is that he likes to express his sense of humor. It may not be in line with my own sense of humor, but I like that he's willing to show it.
It is like something out of The Onion... But maybe that just shows us that he has an understanding of satire...

In the days following 911, he handled the role of president very well and said the right things.
Agreed. He was fantastic. It was nice how the media cut the man some slack for a few months after 9/11. It would have been nice if they didn't shit all over him on a daily basis since then though. He could have had a very different run. But, then that wouldn't have been very democrat of them to be non-partisan.

You're a fucking scumbag, and you don't mean that. You are one giant contradiction. Ultra compassionate one minute, a frothing at the mouth savage the next. You support due process for terrorists and wish murder upon innocents. Good luck with that, you ignorant asshole.

Because the president of the united states shouldn't have to be accountable for his actions?

Miir, come on now. I don't have a problem with his actions. You do, because the press skewed his actions as wrong. If we presented a unified front from the beginning, this perception wouldn't even exist. How is Obama being viewed as the Messiah? The answer is the way he is currently being covered by the mass media. You're smarter than this Miir. Drop the fucking act for a minute.

That's the problem. An employee who does something completely inappropriate, it isn't because he's a swell guy who is full of humor. He is an embarrassment. He should never be patted on the head and excused for making poor decisions on a regular basis.
If Bush were running any Fortuane 500 business in the US, he would've been fired years ago, and that is a fact. With his prior track record, he likely never would've gotten a job to begin with.

But he's not an employee running a Fortune 500 company. I just explained this, but his actions are only deemed wrong because the press has deemed them so and put forth the perception so. If the media was 90% republican biased, every action he took would be thought of in a completely different light. Just like during the Clinton reign, you'd have your bloggers and minority few who complain and try to get everyone on their side, but for the most part the positive press reigns supreme.

This might just be the single dumbest thing you've managed to say in the last week or so. What he said and did was wrong because it trivializes and shows his utter contempt for the seriousness of the issue. It's wrong whether the evil press says so or not, just like you're an idiot of legendary scale whether or not the press reports that fact.
"When I was a kid, my father told me, 'Never hit anyone in anger, unless you're absolutely sure you can get away with it.'" - Russel Ziskey
Yeah, the press totally invented all those stories. Bastards.
I mean honestly, who do they think they are, making up stuff about Georgie like that.
Or if you're not living in Midnytes Neocon Fairyland, you'll see that the media reported on actual events and for every biased news report against bush, there was a pro-busy story coming out of FOX. The thing is, you can't argue with the facts, and people make their decisions based upon what he's done. His approval rate is in the low 20's because of his actions you fucking imbecile. Nixon got lots of bad press coverage too, you think that's why people didn't like him? Or maybe it's because he fucked up, he did something bad, and he tried to cover it up and got caught by the press. Yet while all that was happening, republican loyalists like yourself were blaming the media and not Nixon, because that's all you morons can do to explain your president's fuckups. And by the way, Nixon was a hell of a lot better president than Bush. Noone died at Watergate.

Actually those kind of people get promoted more often than not in the corporate world. The saying goes, "Those that can't do, teach" but we have rephrased that to, "Those that can't do, become your manager".
The day of the next elections is going to be fun on VV.
Personally I have zero expectations for an Obama win. I honestly did not think so many people could be that fucking dumb as to re-elect Bush in 2004, and look what happened. More than likely the idiots will win again.

Evolution is a painfully slow process.
It's really funny that some know-nothing little prick from a country where a bunch of assholes were fighting in the streets until recently for reasons they don't even remember cause they are too busy hanging out at pubs and protecting their pot of gold keeps making comments about the "evolution" of the United States.
