I haven't played around with this too much but it gives results ni a "coverflow" type fashion. You can click the toggle at the bottom of the page to split the window into coverflow on top and text on bottom.
If it's fast, it might be useful. I'm at work so it's slow (animated full pages)

That is wicked cool.

For the oppressed, peace is the absence of oppression, but for the oppressor, peace is the absence of resistance.

Very cool! This could be good when researching something and sifting through the crap pages... I have bookmarked this and if I can remember to use it instead of hot-keying my way to the google bar, I'll report later on its usefulness.

Don't forget about Piclens for image searches!
It's unobtrusive and gives you the option of viewing image search results in a much friendlier manner:
http://www.cooliris.com/
both of these don't work well remotely connected but are great if you have high bandwidth

Re: SearchMe (Visual Search Engine)
I can't deny the coolness of it however I wonder about the utility.
Most of the time I use a search engine is for work related queries and when I'm looking for information. I don't particularly need to see what the page looks like, I need to see the content of the site. I realise that you can have the box at the bottom with that synopsis however having that info in full screen instead of in the bottom third of the page would be good.
There are possibilities for this however, no denying that.
