Eugenics Conspiracy

Post by Noysyrump »

I've recently been hearing about a group of people who believe that there is this huge conspiracy about controling the masses through eugenics, not to create better people, but to create sheeple.

When I first heard about it, I scoffed it off as 'conspiricy theorist nutjobs' with nothing better to do. But It has started to make me wonder.

Constant daily bombardment by "you need this drug" adds on tv, radio, print, and even now the intraweb, kind of make me think, that it is in fact posible, maybe even plausable.

Just as a taste of what some of them think, here's a quote I found for you that havent heard of this.
Testimony given before a sub-committee House Committee on Appropriations, Department of Defense Appropriations for 1970.

"Within the next 5 to 10 years it would be possible to produce a synthetic biological agent, an agent that does not naturally exist and for which no natural immunity could have been acquired... It would probably be possible to make a new infective micro-organism which could differ in certain important respects from any known disease-causing organisms. Most important of these is that it might be refractory to the immunological and therapeutic processes upon which we depend to maintain our relative freedom from infectious disease."

Within a few years, the AIDS epidemic began. There is much literature available, such as the works by Alan Cantwell, Jr., M.D. and Robert Strecker, M.D., stating that this germ was deliberately created, probably at Fort Detrick. Check this very well researched AIDS under serious scrutiny documentary. Further AIDS articles.

What's your veiws/ ideas?

EDIT: I cant spell cause the Gov't is making me stupid. Ok maybe its all the booze.

I don't doubt the possibility of this at all.

See thats what I was thinking of them... but I look around and see the dumbing down of our society as a whole and the wholesale dependancy on medications that may or may not do as advertised. How far fetched is it really?

It's not, but you are seeking logical reasonable responses on the wrong board.

The fact that these(below) exist, says something about it. It's ridiculous.

These drugs are not just given to those labeled as "schizophrenic" or said to be "psychotic" or have "psychosis" or have "schizophrenia". These drugs are often given to people with depression, manic depression or bipolar disorder, mania, Alzheimer’s patients or those suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease, people with brain damage or head injuries, retarded children and adults, many children with Attention Deficit Disorder or ADD or ADHD and children and teenagers who simply have a hot temper (which ironically the drugs will make worse) as well as many other things. If you are unsure whether a certain drug is a neuroleptic or not then here is a list of many names for neuroleptic drugs.
The compulsory administration of neuroleptic drugs by order of the state is not only a violation of one's right to liberty but also the right to life and the pursuit of happiness. The right to life because neuroleptics shorten life span and the precipitous onset of degenerative disease that these drugs induce. The right to the pursuit of happiness because neuroleptics take away sense of well being. The right to liberty because of not being able to make ones own decision regarding the administration of these drugs and the right to freedom of religious worship when the administration of these drugs precludes their use when it violates one's religious values and convictions. For legitimate religious grounds to refuse these drugs see Footnote C below.

Chris Rock has a funny bit on this subject. Basically, the governemnt won't legalize illegal drugs, because they want you to buy their legal drugs. They're going to pump out pills for every sympton imaginable.

"Do you go to sleep at night, and wake up in the morning?"

"Oh shit, that's me! I need this drug!"

I think you need to look more to Rome for why this is happening than some overarching conspiracy.

I find doing away with "spare the rod and spoil the child" is far more detrimental to your society of entitlement than any drugs legal or illegal you may manage to scoff down your whining, pathetic, gullet.

Well said.

Other than that, I'm not touching this thread with a 10-foot pole.

There are obviously a lot of issues with how drugs (legal and illegal) interact with our culture.

However, whenever (as now) you're talking about a possible conspiracy, there's one overarching question which you must answer:

Who is doing the conspiring?

It's a tricky question to answer because you need to figure out someone who would have the capacity to pull off, in total secrecy, such a high-level conspiracy that touches so many different industries, and this person would need to have some sort of plausible motivation for going to all this effort.

Oh they have there ideas. Bill Gates is even suspect. Part of the reason I scoffed it off. Wish I could remeber the name of the book...

Here it is... http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=31336. Its a dvd documentary that was beeing talked about on some radio show that I couldnt turn off... The guy was actually very well spoken and convincing, as he told me Bill Gates wants me to be a sheeple.

I don't think it's as hard as you think. How many huge pharmacuetical companies are there? They buy up ads over the past 10+ years urging everyone to self-diagnose themselves and offer them a little pill that will help them and low and behold you have millions of people taking 3-10 pills a day to maintain. People are stupid and can be swayed by a constant ads everyday, every month, every year, for years on end. Not really a conspiracy at all. Just common knowledge.

Well, OK. It's definitely true that drug companies want to sell us more and more drugs at higher and higher prices and make us feel like they are more and more necessary to our day-to-day functioning. I agree with that entirely.

But that's not a conspiracy about 'controlling the masses' or creating a compliant sheep population. It's not even a conspiracy at all. It's a marketing and business strategy that stupid people fall for. So if that's all what we're talking about, then yeah, sure, it's going on.

Agreed.

I think it's borderline criminal that the drug companies are posting scripts online for consumers to prepare with before a visit the doctor so they'll be prescribed "X" to take care of a problem they may or may not have.

I've got 2 doctors I use, one who works for a business and one who's private. The one who works for a business will prescribe you something, every time you go. Unless it's something that requires an outright referral. The other, who's private (and mainly serves a poor community) doesn't prescribe much at all.

You should look into Scientology. This is a huge part of thier belief system.

On a serious note, it takes a lot for me to take medication. Obvioulsy, antibiotics for a serious illness is fine, but other than that there are very few things that Tylenol, motrin, and benedryl cannot solve. Almost every woman I know is, or has been on, some form of anti depressant. My wife was taking around 5-6 different meds when I met her for various things, none of which she questioned. She's now down to synthroid, becuase that is medical neccessity. (She had her thyroid removed due to cancer when she was 11)

America is an over medicated society. There is a drug for goddamn everything and doctors hand them out like candy. Is someone trying to control our minds? Uh, no. Over medication is just one of many shocking trends in our society. I believe the "fear" factor you hinted at earlier is another big issue.

I will take doctors putting people on medications before I would take us going back to giving people with "issues" a frontal lobotomy to fix them.

I miss the days of the Transorbital Lobotamy. Good stuff that. I practiced you know. A pick through the thin plate between the eyes to seperate the frontal lobes.
