This looks like it could be really good. It's a biopic about the lead-singer/songwriter of Joy Division. One of the less known, yet more influential bands to come out of the 80s.
Some great actors in it, including Samantha Morton.

Yes it is good. In fact, it's excellent and you should all go and see it if you liked Joy Division.
Are Joy Division less known in the US? Their style is virtually the main foundation for most indie rock/pop bands in the UK atm - (hence the film being made).One of the less known, yet more influential bands to come out of the 80s.

They are waaaaaaay less known here in the US. I've mentioned the band to many people and only one or two of them knew who they were.
