Congrats.
The offense should be ashamed of itself, that's the worst I've ever seen a Michigan offense play.

That wasn't a pretty game all the way around.
OSU only threw two passes in the second half.
A W is a W I guess, but it was ugly.
I was really suprised that Manningham couldn't hold onto a ball. He has been a solid receiver this season.

Yeah, me too. I'm not sure what the deal was, though I was outside in that weather and it was really nasty. I wonder if they were too slippery to hold onto or what. Could explain OSU only throwing 2 passes in the second half.Sabek wrote:I was really suprised that Manningham couldn't hold onto a ball. He has been a solid receiver this season.
Between receivers not being able to hold onto the ball, Henne's injury obviously affecting his accuracy, and the demon that is Vernon Gholston (sp?) blowing up the offensive line on pass pro., it's not hard to hold a gimpy Mike Hart to no yards rushing when you can just overload the box every time.

Oh well, hopefully Les Miles will have more success against Tressel than Lloyd did!

Yeah that and everytime Boeckman got the ball to throw it he either dropped it or fell down.Sylvus wrote: Yeah, me too. And if Beanie was ready to be a beast, you may as well ride him.
I wonder how much the Les Miles to Michigan talk will affect LSU for the rest of the year.
You think Michigan will have any issue paying the $1.25 million buy out to LSU?

Re: #21 goes down
I'm not sure exactly how the buyout stuff works. I know that John Beilein had a $2.5M buyout with WVU, and that Bill Martin (Michigan's AD) said that was up to Beilein to pay it. But then Beilein had no problem doing that. And that's just for our Basketball coach. At Michigan, football is king, so I don't think it'll be a problem. If it came down to it being a deal-breaker, I'm pretty sure there's probably an alum out there who'd write Les Miles a check.Sabek wrote:I wonder how much the Les Miles to Michigan talk will affect LSU for the rest of the year.

I've read a lot of interesting information about the whole Les Miles to Michigan thing. It sounds like LSU's athletic director is downplaying it like there's no chance it'll happen, but articles like this one make me think Miles is chomping at the bit and just saying what he has to say to get through the end of his LSU commitments so he can move on to what is his dream job. Plus I know some people who know some people, and I've already heard rumors from sources that I would deem fairly credible that Miles has already been in contact with a real estate agent in the area. I also know that Michigan has already had interviews with certain former assistants, so the interview process had already begun even before the leak last week that Lloyd was announcing his retirement today. All signs point to Les Miles.
