Hey guys, I've got a Viewsonic VX922 monitor. I've had problems with it before, such as burnt out bulbs, dead pixels, etc. This time, the monitor will suddenly have three yellow lines that run from top to bottom of the monitor. They are significant lines; they run maybe an inch wide. When I try to load Everquest 2, the video image is horribly distorted. A shut down, followed by ten minutes turned off, usually clears up the problem temporarily, but then it comes back at random, sometimes a day later or sometimes 30 minutes later.
Viewsonic monitors are a piece of shit, and I will never buy one again. However, I do not have the money to buy a new monitor right now, so if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this problem (without sending it in for warranty, I've already done it once and I'm not dumping anymore money on this tub) it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Monitor problems
Thanks Fash, but I moved to LCD because I don't have space. I'm in a tiny dorm room where the desks are too small for CRT. I had to dump my old CRT behemoth (which I loved) when I came to this place.
