Ammonia leak in Tampa

Another reason for increased science education, I'm not sure how stupid you have to be to drill into an ammonia pipeline:

This is the second time it's happened near me, the bridge in the story is a couple miles from my house. The first was by people trying to get ammonia for their meth lab, one dead, 3 seriously injured in that one. I'm assuming that's the case here as well.

This one was done by a 16 year old, from the news it appears he's badly burned and has lung damage as well. Must have taken him days to drill through.

There's talk of suing his parents for the damages, I'm not sure what they could have done about it. People are also speaking of going after the pipeline company, don't know about that one either though I'm sure they're insured for it.

Hey Aab, didn't realize you live in Tampa. I just moved here a few weeks ago. I live on S. Westshore blvd. in south tampa. I assume you're pretty close if you live in Hillsborough county.
