Really goes to show just how outclassed AZ was in the championship.
J/K! I enjoy teasing Winnow about AZ teams...

You're not the only one. And yeah, that pickoff was just embarassing.
First game in Denver tonight!

Its pretty much over, the 8 days off cooled off the Rockies. Game 1 was in my mind the deciding game in this series, if Colorado was still hot they could win. But they are very outmatched and I doubt they can win more then a game....if that. They really needed that 1st win IMO.

My wife went into active labor after game 1, but we at least we were able to watch all of the games. Game 2 was really great, as were games 3 and 4. I'm glad they at least made them interesting. Too bad the Rockies bats never woke up when they needed them. I'm really disappointed in Todd Helton. He just didn't get any clutch hitting in the post-season. The hitting went to sleep just after the series with the Phillies, and it's been the pitching and fielding that carried this team to the Series. Still, I'm very proud of our team. It was equally heartbreaking on Monday night when Farve heaved that miracle in OT. It was a sad couple of days in Denver.
I'm looking forward to next season, especially since there aren't many people on the team eligibile for arbitration or free-agency. Torrealba is the only one who I think would be worth signing, and he's a Class B, so we have a shot.
