Tick Tick Tickin' In My Head

Post by Siji »

Everyone's had that annoying situation where you've got something stupid stuck in your head and you can't get it out.. what's the worst thing you've ever had repeating non-stop in your brain and wanted to gouge out your eyeballs to get rid of?

"Do your ears hang low, do they wobble to and fro, can you time them in a knot, can you tie them in a bow?"

I hate getting partial lyrics stuck in my head. I don't know all the words, but I can't get rid of the tune in my brain, so I have this non-stop humming where words should be.

the background music from an SNES game called Golden Axe II (I think that was the game) play in the back of my head sometimes.

When I wake up to the radio, whatever song is playing remains in my head for a long time, even if the song sucks so that can be a bad thing.

Yeah, I have two kids ;) Youngest turns 6 today.

Do your ears hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie them in a knot?
Can you tie them in a bow?
Can you throw them o'er your shoulder
like a continental soldier?
Do your ears hang low?

Less popular follow up verses below

Do your ears hang high?
Do they reach up to the sky?
Do they droop when they are wet?
Do they stiffen when they're dry?
Can you semaphore your neighbour
with a minimum of labour?
Do your ears hang high?

Do your ears flip-flop?
Can you use them for a mop?
Are they stringy at the bottom?
Are they curly at the top?
Can you use them for a swatter?
Can you use them for a blotter?
Do your ears flip-flop?

Do your ears hang out?
Can you waggle them about?
Can you flip them up and down
as you fly around the town?
Can you shut them up for sure
when you hear an awful bore?
Do your ears hang out?

Whenever I get a bad song stuck in my head, I just go through a Final Fantasy soundtrack or two in my brain. Never ceases to entertain.

Yeah but the worst one of all is:

It's a small world after all,
it's a small world after all,
It's a small world after all,
it's a small small world.

ur welcome 8-)
