Directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen, Alan Rickman, and many other greats. This is a musical based on a man that breaks out of prison to take bloody revenge on those that locked him away years prior. He poses as a barber and kills lots of people!

I think it looks great. For some reason, they seem to be downplaying the musical side of this movie in the previews though.

Tim Burton really has a thing for Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter dosen't he? (One could also say that Martin Scorsese has a similar obsession for Leonardo DiCaprio though too.) Jack Nicholson also has a Burton fetish. He's said he would do any picture that Burton ever wanted him to. I wonder what Burton does to inspire such loyalty and respect from such great actors?

Weren't Burton and HBC dating? I seem to remember something about that, so it'd be no surprise. As for Burton and Depp, well shit.. they make great films together.

Burton and HBC have a son together and live in two adjoined houses.

The movie looks like it could be either great or...meh. I like Depp and most of Burton's more imaginative features have been great (Beetle Juice, Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas, Ed Wood, Big Fish), so hopefully this will be along the lines of those more creative films.

This movie is fucking beautiful. If you have never seen a musical it may be rough though. Burton did a fanfuckingtastic job, as did the acting talent. And the colors!! My holy god pete, this is wonderful. 10/10. Funny thing, I just re-watched Order of the Phoenix....Helena has pretty much the same garb, which is kinda cool.
