Re: Annual NFL Predictions 2007/08
AFC East Bills (Wait three weeks for Moss to destroy the Pats chemestry)
AFC West Chargers (Talent and LT will keep them on top)
AFC South Colts (Manning is as hot as he has ever been)
AFC North Bengals (Weak Division, Weak Schedule)
NFC East Cowboys (The suck the least out of their entire division)
NFC West 49ers (Suprisingly solid team, D will carry them to the division title)
NFC South Panthers (A balanced team who knows how to take care of business)
NFC North Packers (The only experienced QB in their Division and the best Defense)
AFC Wildcards Patriots and Broncos (Pats weak division guarentees them a spot, Broncos can just plain win with anyone, but neither team will go far this year)
NFC Wildcards Seahawks and Vikings (Hawks have talent, but its not durable. Vikings will squeek in with their defense, then get curb stomped in the WC round)
AFC Championship Colts vs Bills
NFC Championship Panthers vs Cowboys
Superbowl Colts over Panthers
This is going to be the year od the defense. You are seeing it in a lot of teams. The top tier QBs will burn teams up, especially Manning and Brady, as long as they have recievers willing to work for the route. Once Moss takes his usual mid-season powder, the Pats season will effectively be over. Hasslebeck will look good until someone actually hits him hard, then he will be done, too. A lot of mid tier teams will do a one game and out in the playoffs, due to ineffective recieving corps (Packers, 49ers, and Vikings being the main ones) combined with weaker running games.

War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .
Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."
Dwight Eisenhower

Re: Annual NFL Predictions 2007/08
Not gonna win many games (let alone a division) scoring 13 ppg.AFC East Bills (Wait three weeks for Moss to destroy the Pats chemestry)
Smart money is on the Bills for worst team in the NFL this year.
The Patriot's chemistry seems to be just fine.

A rough start but Tomlinson had a breakout game in week 6.AFC West Chargers (Talent and LT will keep them on top)
Jacksonville has had a great start... their defence has been outstanding.AFC South Colts (Manning is as hot as he has ever been)
I don't know that I would call a division with the Ravens and the Steelers weak... Cinci has been fucking awful this year.AFC North Bengals (Weak Division, Weak Schedule)
They had a soft schedule for the first 5 weeks. Romo has been great but their defense is suspect. Only possible competition are the Giants but they have been pretty average despite the 4-2 record.NFC East Cowboys (The suck the least out of their entire division)
See my comment about the bills... 13ppg? Yikes!NFC West 49ers (Suprisingly solid team, D will carry them to the division title)
They should just disqualify this division from post season play.
Once NO gets their ass in gear, this division fight will be awesome.NFC South Panthers (A balanced team who knows how to take care of business)
Fuck FavreNFC North Packers (The only experienced QB in their Division and the best Defense)

Re: Annual NFL Predictions 2007/08
All I know is that in my weekly football pool I went 12-2 and nailed the point total tiebreaker (45), but one person went 13-1 last week. So I missed the 360 dollars by one game. This week I finished tied for 1st with 4 others (out of about 100) and then put 42 for the point total tiebreaker and the jerkoffs score 41 points so I lose.
2 Weeks, 23-4 and 1 point off the point total combined for 2 weeks and I still won no money. Yes I am whining and I don't care. Oh yeah my fantasy team blows too!!!! Losing Sucks.

When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

And yes this is from someone who picked the Chargers over the Saints as the Superbowl result before the season started...

I actually agreed with a lot of his picks but this season has brought a lot of surprises and it's only week 6!

Re: Annual NFL Predictions 2007/08
Amazing how much fucking changed in the first three weeks. I still don't think the Patriots are all that, either. The only team of real ability they have played all season is Dallas (who themselves, have had a soft schedule until they played NE) and it only takes one game for Moss to get pouty and lay down. The Rest of my predictions are pretty much for shit at this point.

Re: Annual NFL Predictions 2007/08
This year underdogs have covered, and won outright 30 of 45 times. That's pretty insane.
Re: Annual NFL Predictions 2007/08
Cardinals are still in first place in their division!
Re: Annual NFL Predictions 2007/08
Damn I am laughing when I look at the picks I made back in September. About the best pick I made was the Bears as most over-rated
