Last year, I rambled on and on about how cool the character generation is in this game. It's even better this year. Simply amazing IMO. On top of the most detail ever in a face/body generation system, this year you can take a picture of yourself (front and profile) and have the game generate a 3D image of yourself.
Check out the video for what it looks like:

All you have to do is line up some key points on the face (ears, eyes, etc) and the game will generate the rest. I think the results are outstanding and the most realistic yet in a system this easy. The thought of including a character generation system this detailed in an MMORPG gets me fired up. I don't expect everyone to want to use a 3D rendering of themselves in games but the detail is so good that even using a random generate or selecting from thousands of premade options would be outstanding.
When you play Tiger Woods 08, the character animation is very lifelike and fluid. Tiger Wood's (and the other golfers in the game) face is amazingly realistic and his arms (skin tone/texture/muscles) are spot on as well.
Tiger Woods remains a huge stand out game for me simply for the character generation and animations but the entire game is well put together (menus/commentary/multiple game options/online/erc)
I hope an MMORPG in the next five years will be able to handle individual character generations this detailed.

Scarlett Johansson's face is pretty well done. She looks more like Buffy in the far away shot though!

If nothing else, this technology would be cool to use to see how various clothes would look on you with your exact build, face, etc. It would be huge for online retailers. I can picture downloading a catalog in a format that allowed you to recreate the entire catalog with your face/body in it so you could see (for good or bad) how you'd appear wearing the clothes and not just how some super model would look.
