Battlestar Gallactica Season 4
Katee Sackoff gave a little spoiler at ComicCon about Season 4. She immediately said something to the effect of "I probably shouldn't have said that much. Watch me get sued now!"

Re: Battlestar Gallactica Season 4
Ooooooooooo
I wonder when they will find Earth in regards to our general timeline. Will we be in wooden sailing ships, or more advanced than the colonies? That would be a very neat effect, to see an Earth that is stronger than the 12 colonies were before their time of destruction.
BSG is a very political show, with important messages woven into their plots. The suicide bombers, the issue on whether to ban abortion, all of these topics are addressed on the show. I wonder what the show will do to portray Earth. Will we have advanced down a dark timeline, or did we head for clearer skies in regards to our internal politics? I look forward to Moore and Eich's vision of our own future.
Twenty bucks says they find Earth in the mid season cliffhanger. That's when they found kobol, they found Pegasus, and they found the temple. They have a habit of discovering things about ten episodes into a season

Re: Battlestar Gallactica Season 4
Less than 1 month until the 2 hour episode about Pegasus. So, let's start asking the question: why this episode, and why now? What purpose could it serve to show an episode about Pegasus? Do we need to meet a character for some reason? Do we need to get to know Admiral Caine more? If so, why? Isn't she dead?
We're still missing one of the Final Five. It's not the Adamas (for genealogical reasons), I'd bet twenty bucks it's not Starbuck, so we've got a surprise coming this season. My guess is that someone on the Pegasus is going to be vital to the show, and that's why we're getting this episode now. What do you all think?

Well it sounds like Pegasus wiped out (stripped) some civilian ships and left them to die of which we learned about in Season 2. Perhaps the abandoned civilian ships and what happened to the passengers are part of this two hour story.

Re: Battlestar Gallactica Season 4
Interesting. I didn't know about the Pegasus episode (bad fan! bad!). I agree that they wouldn't be bringing back that part of the story unless there was something integral to the overall story. I think we all agreed that the Pegasus segment of show thus far was never fleshed out enough. Maybe this is whyKaldaur wrote:Less than 1 month until the 2 hour episode about Pegasus. When is this set to air? I want to make sure my DVR is set to record it if the episode doesn't already get caught as a new episode of BSG.

Re: Battlestar Gallactica Season 4
I'll just buy them all when the series has run its course. I've yet to see a single episode, despite the glowing reviews. Still, I feel for the fans after reading that article!Good news and bad news for fans of the acclaimed "Battlestar Galactica".
The upbeat news is that 'Razor', the upcoming TV movie, will go theatrical in select cities on November 12th - nearly two weeks before its small screen debut on November 24th. Details on which cities and where to get tickets are up at BattlestarEvent.com.
The bad news however is far more stinging. Originally scheduled to premiere in January, the final 20-episode run will now start early April reports The Los Angeles Times. Sci Fi Channel executives have still not yet determined whether the final season will all air next year or be spread over 2008 and 2009, but the delay means chances of an uninterrupted season are higher.

The fact that this is not showing at the Alamo Drafthouse sucks. I have caught a couple of the regular episodes there, and had a blast.

Re: Battlestar Gallactica Season 4
More delays!!!! Waiting to January was bad enough. Now April?
Apparently, I was also misinformed. The flashback episode will occur when Lee was commander of the Pegasus, and not Admiral Caine. So, this episode will take place after the Pegasus has been reunited with the rest of the fleet. That's a letdown of sorts, because I was looking forward to having Michelle Forbes back on the show.

Re: Battlestar Gallactica Season 4
Off topic but: Does anyone know if/when and on which media they plan to release season 3 in HD? I don't get the HD channel where the episodes air (though i think sci-fi HD exists on driect tv now), and would really like to watch season 3 for the first time in HD. Also, a place to download them would work too, but I couldn't find it on any torrent sites private or public.

Aw man, its playing in Dallas the night I'm leaving for a business trip. If I didn't have the conflict, I could see Eric and I making a road tripFairweather Pure wrote:I'll just buy them all when the series has run its course. Stephanie (Kendra Shaw) has a strong Aussie accent given they moved here when she was 12... but she's hot, so I'm going to claim her for my country

I thought it was pretty good, not great tho. I liked Kendra (both the character and the fact she was hot with an awesome accent!). I thought their shoe-horning Adama's backstory with the previous experiments wasn't so great.

Re: Battlestar Gallactica Season 4
"Kara Thrace will lead humanity to the apocalypse", or something of that nature. That was such a bombshell at the end of the episode, and introduced a lot of questions. Was the hybrid lying to Shaw in an attempt to mislead Galactica? Was the interference that occured really from the Cylons, so Shaw couldn't tell the Galactica about Kara? The hybrid wouldn't tell her something, then produce interference to stop her from spreading the word, especially if he knew she was about to blow herself up, so it had to have come from the Cylons. Which means the Cylons don't want Galactica to know about Kara and her "mission".
The last five minutes gave us a lot to think about until episodes return in March.

Watched Razor tonight and thought it was outstanding. Battlestar Gallactica is far and away the best Sci-Fi series, ever.
Shaw (Aussie accent chick) was a great character. Shame she was a one episode character.
I didn't like the final episode of Season 3 where the remaining Cylons were revealed. It gave me doubts about season 4 but this show has earned my respect so I won't prejudge.
My Razor copy downloaded from the newsgroups said "uncensored". Young Adama called the cylons cocksuckers in this version. Was that also on the Sci-Fi channel like that? I was surprised to hear him say cocksucker because everything else was "frak" this or "frak" that.
