No one else had posted this in all the other dramaz of the past few days, but I thought this was amusing. I don't consider myself a Christian, and I was Lutheran not Catholic when I did, so a lot of the papal edicts seem a little... presumptuous I guess is the best way I can think of to decribe it. This one seems downright counterproductive: what does the Roman Catholic church have to gain from this type of pronouncement? Its not as if the fundamentalists who are on the rise in the US will bow down and kiss his dress hem, or any of the more mainstream protestant denominations. On the flipside it seems like it has the tendency to breed animosity towards the vatican from groups who were mildly supportive of it. Ah theologians: one of the few groups that find arguing over obscure and irrelevant phrases as much fun as lawyers... at least they're safer to ignore

REDMOND, Washington (AP) - Bill Gates reasserted the primacy of the Windows Vista, approving a document released Tuesday that says other OS communities are either defective or not true OS's and Vista provides the only true path to salivation.
oh well, there is no hope for these religious people... i wish they weren't all fucking morons and could see through the bullshit. (some might say the same thing about various platforms in this country)

Nod. Scary how many groups use such exclusionary resoning.
