New avatar
I need a new avatar, but am too lazy to find what I want. If you can find me an animated avater showing one of the infamous chicken dances from Arrested Development, you will have my love and devotion forever...or at least until you post something that pisses me off.

points for avatars that show both Gob and Lindsay (at Micheal's office) or the one with most of the family.

Re: New avatar
It's a bit big, but I'll try to shrink it down to avatar size once I get Photoshop reinstalled.

Re: New avatar
I recommened neither of those. A static image is more than sufficient!
1MB avatars would be a bt extreme.

Because then we can more easily control the filesize. 1MB will not be allowed!Dregor Thule wrote:Speaking of avatars, why can't we link an offsite one anymore?
Plus some people had images in there (i think noel was one of them, or else it was something in his sig) that would give me security warnings, like whatever site it was being hosted on was trying to add a cookie or something to spy on my habits.
That and I'm drunk with power. And booze. It's mostly booze, really.

Re: New avatar
I'll split the difference with you, it's 150k now.
I have like 800x600 pixel photographs that are much smaller than that, people can convert their avatars down to 150k if they're bigger.

Re: New avatar
Sounds reasonable to me!
The new 150x150 pixel/200kb size gives plenty of room for creativity. phpBB 3 also works better with Avatars. I've noticed on larger embedded images within a post that the avatar will display beneath the picture instead of stretch the margins. I can't remember if it shows that on both themes though. Might have been the old style which I only see if not logged in.
It would have been nice if the new version allowed blocking of individual avatars but you can do that in Firefox if needed.
