So Forza 2's been out in Japan since the 24th and there's quite a few talented people that are putting out some really impressive custom paintjobs for their cars.

Forza 2 is a badass game if you're into racing physics. The game looks great but the game physics are just amazing along with the extensive replay and customization. There is an extremely well done "Telemetry" data overlay you can put up during replays and seven tabs of overlay info..
General
-Speed
-Gear
-RPM
-Boost
-Clutch
-Power
-Torque
-Steering
Friction
shows individual tire tracking
Suspension
Body Acceleration
Tires
-Caber
-mph
-Temp
-psi
-Wear
Heat
Damage
Has breakdown of your entire car showing damage in 21 different areas.
Watching the car drive, it's easy to see the physics in action as well as the damage to the car.
This isn't a gay PS3 riiiiidge Racer or Gran Turismo goofyassed physics, no damage game.
The realistic reflections (actually reflecting what you see in the stands etc) on the car are amazing as well if you have HD.
Beyond the replay/movie mode, there is a photo mode that feels like professional photography with all the camera settings:
-shutter speed
-focus
-aperture
-exposure
-contrast
-color
-brightness
-sepia
Can save replays and photos.
Forza 2 has multiscreen although I'm not sure how to do it. It has extensive settings on the multiscreen to set up two or three screens...three would be badass...it asks for viewing angle of the other monitors so you could have them angled to see your sides.
For Career, you can choose Europe, North America or Asia as your starting location which affects your choice of cars to begin with (shit-ton of cars in the game)
I went Euro and started out with a Mini Cooper (had seen choices to start with in Europe)
Difficulty settings:
Novice (that's me!)
Intermediate
Professional
Champion
Careen Main Window:
Go Race
My Cars
Buy Car
Buy Upgrades (very well done...great UI and visuals)
-Engine and Power
-Fuel system
-Platform and Handling
-Tires and Rims
-Body and Aero
Tune Car
-benchmarks before/after tune ups
-test drive your upgrades before racing again
Paint Car
-Paint (body, hood, mirrors, wing, brakes, rims)
-Custom (decals, vinyl shapes, patterns)
-Windows (tinting)
-Save your custom Paint Job/Designs and apply them to other cars
Set Difficulty
As for Career
Races:
Proving Grounds
Amateur Cup Races
Manufacturer Cup Races
Semi Pro
Rivalry Face-Offs
Factory Spec Races
Professional Series
Endurance Races
All of those have 10 events and 10 races each...and it seems that events have multiple tracks on top of that. wow. shit load of tracks
before a race you can tune your car:
Tire Pressure
Gearing
Alignment
Anti-Roll bards
Springs
Damping
Aero
Braking
Differential
All of these have separate screens with multiple sliders
You can customize your HUD (heads Up Display)
Draft/g meters
Timers and Labels
Damage/Tire Wear
Map
Ahead/Behind Labels
Names over Cars
Speedometer
Mirror
Meters Ahead
Units
Ghosts
Seven separate sound levels you can adjust
...and I just came in last on Novice setting in the easiest race of the game. My car looked appropriately beat to hell. Watching the replay in "free" view where the camera changes view on its own is the best. I could really see how much I sucked. Looks cool though even when you are fucking up....could see my little driver shifting gears from the side angle.
9/10
10/10 if I was into racing and new how. This is definitely not one to get for kids. This is the only racing game to get if you are into realistic racing along with a great looking game and incredible customization and online play.
edit: came in 4/8 next race so I don't suck as much anymore!
You can't cheat by cutting through dirt/grassy areas to cut corners..it slows you way down as it should. The only thing I can try on novice is to bounce off of cars on the corners to slow my speed and make it around them as the damage shows on novice but it doesn't impact performance...any higher setting and you won't be bouncing off cars. i did manage to fishtale a car or two out of my way!
your credits for placing in a race are affected by the car you're driving (I got a bonus due to driving a Cooper which isn't the best car in its class), about 10 things impact the credits you receive after a race and your "XP" towards gaining next level.
Great game for racers!

Re: Forza 2 custom paintjobs.
Have to agree Winnow, loving Forza 2 so far.
I went the same route and started in Europe and an Audi. The customization of every single detail of your car is very hands on. You can notice a huge difference upgrading certain parts of your car immediately after purchase.
When you upgrade your car with certain parts as well, you increase what I thought I saw as a "Rarity" meter, where that ratings adds bonus points to career matches for finishing the race with that car.
There was a match my friend and I played last night that was 25 miles in length...and we had to do two laps. Took FOREVER but still lots of fun.
Anyone happen to be on when I am and want to play a few matches, send me a invite!

Forza 2 is a great racing game.
For the triple screen setup you actually need three XBox 360's and three copies of the game. Full instructions can be had at this link:

Here is what it looks like in action:
